Don't know why I waited so long to try PRS

Great playing and sounding guitar. Upon arrival needed some minor setup for my preference. The finish and build quality was absolutely flawless. It's very hard to believe that this is an import, it really is that good. Can't seem to find much info on the PRS website on this very unique model with the Eriza Verde Quilt top finish, ebony fretboard, full body neck and headstock binding, and painted Eriza Verde headstock. I'm guessing this is a Guitar Center exclusive because nobody else carries this model with these features. It plays so well it's my new go to guitar

You will not get the guitar shown on this website

The color is nowhere close to what is listed on this website. It's hot pink. I returned it once, and got another one that was even farther from violet. Guitar center or PRS must have a quality control problem that they are passing onto the customer without warning, because when I returned it, even the guitar center employee said, "Wow. That's a totally different guitar." The guitar sounds and plays well so I gave it a second star, but I believe Guitar Center is intentionally being misleading. I spoke to a customer service rep, and it sounds like every one of these guitars has the same problem.

    I was kinda skeptical about this Indonesia produced PRS guitar. I've purchased other guitars manufactured there, and sent them back. This thing was great out of the box. I just lowered the action a little, and it was good to go. It stays in tune really well, even with using the term.

    This guitar is hot pink, not the violet color advertised. I asked the Guitar Center Raleigh rep to show me the other one in stock and they refused stating they're all hot pink... When I find one that looks like the photos and videos on this site I'll buy it.

    Amazing clean tone that sounds even better with distortion. The guitar has the feel of a Fender Stratocaster (play some bends and you'll see what I mean). Add some distortion and you get a Schecter sound. This is a guitar that can make even the worst of AMPs sound like a Marshall stack. The Price is more than justified. 10/10 would recommend.

    I bought this guitar after a trade in. The fit and finish is gorgeous, and the sounds I've been able to make have been phenomenal. The guys at the Nashville store definitely helped make this one a keeper

    Does this guitar have a nitro finish? I have heard that these finishes interact poorly with guitar stands (i.e. the foam). Thanks

    There are some stands that will react to nitro. This PRS SE Custom 24 doesn't have a nitro finish.

    How much does the particular purple guitar weigh exactly?

    All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. I'm sorry but I don't have one to weigh. This will be approximately 8.5 lbs
