Description

The Martin GPC-X2E X Series ziricote acoustic-electric guitar blends exotic visual flair with the iconic Martin tonality and effortless playability. Its eye-catching ziricote-patterned high pressure laminate (HPL) back and sides make a statement under stage lights, while the solid hand-rubbed sapele top produces a balanced, nuanced acoustic voice. Designed for comfort, the slim-taper neck and low-profile frets offer silky smooth playability. Plug in the onboard Martin E-1 electronics to amplify your sound flawlessly at any venue. With the GPC-X2E ziricote, Martin delivers their timeless craftsmanship in a stage-ready package.

Martin GPC-X2E Ziricote Back and Sides

Turn Heads With Striking Ziricote HPL Back and Sides

The GPC-X2E ziricote makes a visual impact with its exotic ziricote-patterned HPL back and sides. The eye-catching woodgrain pattern looks stunning under stage lights. Beyond aesthetics, the durable HPL construction makes the guitar highly resistant to weather and environmental changes so you can play worry-free. The HPL still resonates with woody warmth like solid wood, so you don't sacrifice any tonal nuance. The GPC-X2E ziricote blends striking looks and road-ready toughness.

Martin GPC-X2E Ziricote Top

Experience Nuanced Tone With a Solid Sapele Top

With its focused midrange and shimmering overtones, the hand-rubbed solid sapele top adds dimension to your tone. Compared to spruce, sapele has a slightly warmer, more rounded sound with pronounced fundamentals. Strumming rings out with complexity as the sapele top reveals nuanced harmonic details. Whether you dig into the strings or pick gently, the sapele top gives the GPC-X2E ziricote a versatile, balanced acoustic voice.

Martin GPC-X2E Ziricote Neck

Play for Hours With a Slim-Taper Neck

Designed for playing comfort, the slim-taper neck has a satin-finished select hardwood fingerboard with a slimmer 1-3/4" nut width and flattened 16" fingerboard radius that will feel familiar to electric players. The slim profile makes chording and soloing along the 20-fret fingerboard smooth and enjoyable. Low-profile frets further enhance playability for silky string bending and vibrato. The ergonomic neck design lets your hands glide effortlessly up and down the fingerboard.

Martin GPC-X2E Ziricote Electronics

The rolled fretboard, beveled edges, contoured bridge, and pa neck with 1.75 nut make this a very playable guitar. The hpl back and sides make it durable, and the solid top makes it sound good. The satin tuners are sexy and smooth. And it's factory plek'd. But, as with everything in life it has some flaws. The fret ends could use some TLC they are acceptable but I'm picky.

  • Great guitar. Picture are different than actual looks.

Great guitar. The pictures on here are misleading it is more brown and dull colored. I expected shiny but I love it. I would recommend it but buy different strings for it. The factory strings are dull and flat sounding. Overall a very nice guitar for the price.
