First, I'm intermediate at best, and have had a few guitars. I used to turn my nose down at MIM even though I still kind of sucked. For the price, you're getting a solid wood guitar. Sapele back and sides, yes, but not a laminate. I don't even think I would know the difference, but I at least like the idea of solid wood. This was a GC wall hanger so I put some earthwood extra lights on it and gave it a cleaning. Action came decent and I love the built in tuner. In the future, I might treat myself to a higher end guitar, but I can't imagine I would really need anything else but this.
Fantastic sounding acoustic

I have been playing guitar for 45 years. I've played many different guitars over those years, in bands, recording and now just for personal enjoyment. I have been in search of a new midsized acoustic for a while and have tried many different guitars in the last two months. I didn't wanna break the bank but wanted a guitar that when I picked it up it just sounded and felt like a much more expensive guitar. Today after trying five different brand guitars and many different models I fell in love with the sound and feel of this OOO 15E immediately. I love the mahogany top and its warm balance tone! For the price of this guitar and being solid wood construction, it was the clear winner. Some people may think it's somewhat plain, looking without all the colorful decorations, but I love the classic mahogany look! Could not be happier!
