MXR

Description

In just over a decade, the MXR Carbon Copy Analog Delay has become a rock ‘n’ roll staple. Its rich bucket-brigade warmth and elegant simplicity have endeared it to guitar players around the world—weekend warriors and recording pros alike. It’s the go-to standard for players who want a well-rounded, easy-to-use delay pedal that sounds incredible. Between the Carbon Copy and Carbon Copy Deluxe Analog Delays, you can find a solution for almost any of your delay needs—but if you’re looking to free up some space on your own board, or downsize to a smaller one for travel gigs, then consider another demand met.

The Carbon Copy Mini Analog Delay packs organic analog warmth and ease of use into an MXR mini housing with added sonic versatility so that you can make the most out of your pedalboard real estate. In its default mode, this pedal’s repeats yield the dark, mellow wash that made the Carbon Copy Analog Delay famous. For players who want more sparkle and clarity, the designers added a Bright switch that accentuates high end frequencies for increased presence and distinctively vocal repeats. And of course, the Carbon Copy Mini Delay is outfitted with the same modulation section as its forebear. Push the Mod switch and adjust the internal Speed and Depth controls to add everything from tape echo warble to shimmery, liquefied chorusing to your repeats. Finally, adjust the parameters of your delay signal with the Regen, Mix, and Delay controls.

The Carbon Copy Mini Delay joins the heralded Carbon Copy pedal series as it continues to address an ever wider range of player needs.

This pedal filled in a missing element and took up very little space on my board.

I've tried a few mini delays an this one hands down sounds the best to me . I like the mod switch an brightness toggle as well . I found a perfect place in my pedal board line up so it performs an sounds best ( not where I originally thought) I removed it from my effects loop and placed it after one OD at the near end the chain in front of my last higher gain OD an so far so good

  • Right size for the job!

Purchased this for my Pedal train nano+ board. The size with the features makes this pedal tough to beat! Sounds exactly like the original, or the bright which I have also used in the past. I don't think there is another mini analog delay on the market that could touch this. Is it the best analog delay on the market for any size pedal? No but it's in the top 5 I'm sure. In my mind there is no reason to replace your full size carbon copy if you have one already. But if size is an issue or you need an analog delay this certainly should be on your list to look at!
