USB post is poorly made

I've had the unit less than a year and the usb port no longer works - - you must be careful to insert the cable each time, if not, the prongs in the port are fragile and bend. So the result is that I now will have to buy the adapter which does not come with the unit. I would not buy this product again.
a nice product

This connected into my DAW very easily and I was up and playing in under a 1/2 hour. It seems responsive and is giving me some good results already.
This is a great midi keyboard.

I originally purchased a Samson midi as the lower keyboard for my Hammond XK1. I didn't like the undersized keys or the controls. The M-Audio has standard sized, piano style keys, with good action and the controls are easily accessible on a keyboard stand crowded with 4 other keyboards. The good news is, it's still lightweight enough to be easily transportable. So far, this is the perfect midi for my needs.

I have the M-Audio Keystation 61 MK2 but am unable to use the usb port because it is broken. Could I simply get a midi out to usb cable, or would I also have to get a DC 9-12V adapter? I need this to use on Native Instruments as similar to using usb as possible.
I don't believe it will work with that setup. give us a call at 866-498-7882 and we can try and help you find a work around for it.submitted7 years ago
