Description
Designed for Performance and Playability
The Lucero LC235SCE was designed to be a musician’s instrument. Not only is it comfortable to play, but it’ll look great when you’re performing with it, too. It features back and sides made from upgraded exotic zebrawood, which provides a crisp and biting tone. Additionally, the one-piece mahogany neck is designed to feel comfortable in any player’s hand. The added comfortable Venetian cutaway makes for easy access to all upper frets.
Onboard Fishman Electronics
The Lucero LC235SCE acoustic-electric classical guitar is also equipped with an added Fishman Clasica III preamp, which provides complete control of your volume and EQ when sending your signal to your favorite amplifier or PA system. The built-in tuner also makes it easy to stay in tune.
Additional Premium Features
The Lucero LC235SCE is the total package when it comes to a classical acoustic-electric guitar. In addition to the exotic zebrawood back and sides, the top is constructed from solid red cedar for a warm, classical acoustic tone. The fingerboard and bridge are also made from rosewood.

I've used this guitar for a couple years now. It's beautiful. When I first went looking for a classical guitar to upgrade to from my entry-level Yamaha, I went to my local guitar center and tried every single guitar in the showroom regardless of price point. While some competitors were close, this tones this guitar produced were the warmest and soothing sounding from all the guitars that I tried. At one point I did have an issue with one of the string tuners coming unscrewed, but I was able to get it back after some tinkering. Overall it's a gorgeous guitar and it feels great to play.
Professionally made , and good looking too .

Bought this over Black Friday sale, and loved it from the second I played it. This instrument has all the warmth, resonance, and sustain you'd expect from a solid cedar top, but doesn't sound dull or dark like other cedar top guitars commanding twice the price. The neck is comfortable with terrific action right out of the box, and the zebrawood back and sides are also particularly attractive. My ONLY gripes with this model is the sharp fret edges (requiring a fret and dress from the start), and the oddball 49mm neck width. Seriously, why make a phenomenal guitar, only to ruin it by not sticking to the standard 50mm classical, OR a 48mm fusion widths? Not only are a replacement nut and saddle hard to find, but this 1mm difference makes it really hard to smoothly go between my Cordoba C5-CE and this without an annoying adjustment period.

The specs show the nut width of 1 11/16 which is the nut width on my Les Paul copy and virtually impossible on a classical nylon string guitar which is normally around 48-50mm. One reviewer said 49mm which I believe is more like 1 15/16. Can you confirm the correct nut width for me please? Thanks for your time.
Nut Width: 49mm. Thank you for pointing that out. I will pass it on to our web team.submitted3 years ago

I just got this guitar. Like it. BUT the 9V battery in the tuner has to be changed every 4 days or so. No, it's not plugged in to an amp. Any ideas? A Short?
Sounds like a short. I apologize. Please give us a call with the order number, so we can take care of you. 855-770-3373submitted6 years ago
