Jackson Pro Series Models for 2021 | Jackson Presents | Jackson Guitars

Description
The Pro Monarkh SCQ features a 24.75" scale length, mahogany body with an arched quilt maple top and a speedy one-piece set maple neck with a scarf joint and pair of graphite reinforcement rods, providing stiffness and high stability to guard against temperature and humidity-induced bending and warping. Enjoy Jackson’s familiar and effortless playing feel with a 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard featuring 22 jumbo frets and pearloid ghostfin inlays.
The modern-day metal guitarist requires tonal versatility and super clarity to keep up with the rapid twists and turns of modern metal. A classic Seymour Duncan humbucking combo delivers all that and more, with a JB bridge pickup for heavy riffage and a ’59 neck pickup for creamy leads. The Jackson fully adjustable radius compensated bridge creates perfect intonation along the entire length of the neck to ensure complex chords ring true, while the anchored tailpiece and die-cast locking tuning machines work in harmony for tuning stability that can withstand a good pick-hand thrashing without shifting.
Cloaked in classic Jackson style, the Pro Monarkh SCQ is available in Alien Burst or Satin Amber and features black hardware and three-ply binding around the body, neck and 3x3 AT-1 headstock.

Great guitar straight out of the box.

I decided to buy my Pro Series Monarkh as a back-up to my Pro Series DK2Ms, which have been my primary guitars for the last 16 years. Our set uses three different tunings (E, Eb, and Drop-D), and the DK2Ms use Floyd Rose tremolos, so having a back up that can be retuned as needed is helpful. The guitar looked beautiful and sound was phenomenal right out of the box; so much so that I'm actually considering swapping out the neck pickups in the DK2Ms (Duncan Jazz) for Duncan '59s like in the Monarkh. The neck felt great; same compound radius as my other Jacksons, but the slightly shorter scale gives the strings a more relaxed feel. Only negative was a very minor fret buzz on the low E string, which may just be a matter of getting used to the bridge, since this is the first time in 30 years I'm not playing on a Floyd Rose (I used Ibanez RG series before moving to the DK2Ms). I'm definitely liking this one and wouldn't hesitate to buy one again.

Don't like the bridge. That's a deal breaker for me. Everything else is fine. This was more of a personal thing more than a craftsmanship issue.
Quality issues

I am a couch player, but own a few other guitars. I bought the Pro Series Monarch in Alien Burst since I really wanted a Jackson (absolutely love the feel of their necks). The guitar arrived, and have to say I am pretty disappointed in the quality. The manufacturer box was re-taped, so thinking I did not receive a new guitar. The fretboard and neck was dirty, there is a couple nicks in the binding, and there was some sticky substance on the fret board at the 2nd fret. The craftsmanship and quality is less than impressive as well. The selector switch feels very loose, and you can see see where the binding was cut at neck and headstock joints. I was really looking forward to this guitar but looks like this one is going back.
