Open Box Jackson JS Series King V JS32 Electric Guitar Level 2 White with Black Bevels 197881407049

Description
The Jackson JS Series King V JS32 is a formidable electric guitar shaped for high-performance playing. This is a lethal ax suited for shredding solos at breakneck speeds. This speed machine has a poplar body and bolt-on maple neck reinforced with graphite for rock-solid stability during intense practicing or live shows. Its 12"-16" compound radius amaranth fingerboard is suited for complex chording at the nut and wide, fret-free bends further up the neck.
Lightning-Fast Neck and Jumbo Frets
The JS32's speed neck profile and jumbo frets make shredding a breeze. Practice your tapping techniques, sweep picking, and blistering solos without fear of buzzing notes. The fingerboard's gradually flattening radius keeps chords articulate at the nut while providing an expansive playing surface up top.
High-Output Humbuckers Deliver Aggressive Tone
Dual Jackson high-output humbuckers equipped with ceramic magnets pump out an aggressive tone suited for hard rock and metal. Toggle between the bridge pickup for a cutting lead tone, the neck pickup for a warm, rounded rhythm tone, or combine both for a balanced distortion with sustain for days.
Floyd Rose Double-Locking Tremolo Enables Divebombs and Squeals
Unleash divebombs, squeals, and warbling pitch effects with the licensed Floyd Rose double-locking tremolo bridge. This bridge system locks the strings at the nut and bridge for rock-solid intonation and tuning stability under heavy tremolo use. Bend notes sharp or flat and return to pitch with precision.
Premium Components and Stylish Aesthetics
From the Jackson-branded die-cast tuners and dome control knobs to the all-black hardware, no detail has been overlooked. The King V's bevels provide an edgy contrast to the black satin finish. Combined with its sharp horns and ultra-fast neck, the JS32 looks as deadly as it sounds.

Bought as B-stock. Still not sure what's wrong with it
Wanted to check out a flying V and a Floyd Rose on the cheap. The B-stock model was 2/3rd the cost. Took about an hour to set up. It ships with the strings loosened and that's a good thing. A few swipes on two or three fret ends and getting used to tuning and intonating the Floyd Rose was all it took to turn this into a growler. The strings themselves aren't bad, I replaced them a few weeks later once I learned the process of tuning it. Another thing to know if you practice while seated: Flying V shapes aren't easily playable sitting down without a strap. The frets are jumbos and I prefer them for bends without the Floyd Rose. While some will not like the pickups, they are hot and throaty enough for me. The rest of the guitar is superb quality for the price. I'm still trying to figure out why this is B-stock. I didn't even have to adjust the truss rod which is shocking at this price range.

Pretty guitar, very bad tremolo/floating bridge
The Jackson JS floyd rose/floating trem is very cheaply made, as well as the springs supporting them. There are metal pieces inside of the resting spot for the strings inside of the saddle that, when the tension of tuned strings are applied, will cut or otherwise damage your strings to cause them to slip out. This paired with the poor tension of the stock springs, means needing to order heavy duty springs to replace the old ones if you want to move up in gauge. The saddle blocks as well received chipping and other damage very quickly due to their weak alloy metal. Potentially also being a near requirement to move up in string gauge. I would not recommend buying a guitar that is fitted with a cheaper budget model of Floyd rose trem, as it requires you to order several new parts. Ordering a new trem system I believe requires knowledge of soldering and basic electrical understanding so it's not as easy as replacing other parts. As well as it's at least $130 for a quality one. I recommend just saving money to buy a higher quality guitar to skip needed to order and install the better parts yourself. If you're fine with the very thin stock gauge of strings (9-42) then you can use this guitar fine. But for a guitar renown for its place in trash metal and other metal genres, it doesn't make sense that it doesn't support higher gauge strings with its stock hardware.

If you are looking to play Thrash, Black, Death, Groove, Glam, or Doom metal, THIS, is the guitar. When I first picked it up it felt uncomfortable and was thinking of returning it and just buying a regular guitar. But I stayed with it, gave it a chance, and now it is my most prized possesion, My beauty. I love this guitar because every single song I learn on it sounds good (Especially metal (of any kind)). Once you get used to it, it will become your favorite guitar (atleast I hope so, everyone has different opinions, this is just my favorite personally.)

I use this guitar for shows and practice sessions and I love this beast but, after having it for 2 months (FYI I take good care of this guitar) the pickups gave out on me which I thought the wiring was loose but it turns out that the electronics inside died. I was devastated because this guitar is expensive and I expect a guitar with a big price to work well. Overall I got my baby fixed which came at a price but lesson learned, you get what you pay for!
It's a great V, would recommend to intermediate players.

This V plays great, stays in tune, and has great pickups for distortion. Only downside being that the play ability while sitting down isn't necessarily too comfortable, but either way it's to be played standing and works great in that way. Although you need another stand, or a guitar rack, despite these minor issues it's a great guitar.
Teenage son loves it

This Jackson came in perfect condition and was fairly in tune even. Setup was perfect - a quick tune and played perfectly. Floyd stays true and in tune and neck action and intonation is flawless. Pickups sound just fine and the guitar is mean and beautiful looking. My teenage son won't let it out of his hands his favorite Christmas present for sure. Perfect guitar for him and his thrash metal band. Great guitar for the price or even if it was more. Only complaint is the fret edges are a little rough

If i were to buy this and be on a wait list for it to be back in stock how long will i haveto wait
The Jackson JS Series King V JS32 has an ETA of mid May. We will take more back orders than we are going to receive. It would be best not to wait too long. You won't be charged until the guitar actually ships.submitted2 years ago

I have 2 questions. Is everybody's purchase the same quality wise or is it different for others? I wanted to purchase the closed box version but it shows its out of stock, Which would you recommend waiting for the guitar to be in stock or purchase open box?
