PRX418S is an eighteen inch subwoofer which, when combined with the two-way models, provides a sub/sat system capable of generating 135 dB of full-range, high quality audio. They feature a pole mount flange for a full range speaker, recessed handles for easy transport, and most importantly, a rich, thundering sound.

PRX400 passive speakers were designed to provide the sensitivity, frequency response and power handling needed for almost any professional audio environment while still being reasonably priced. Whether you use a powered mixer or an equipment rack full of amps and signal processing, PRX400 passive speakers deliver the sound power and bandwidth necessary to make loud music sound natural and even quiet speech intelligible.

PRX400 passive speakers are made of tour-tested JBL components and feature professional connectivity via Neutrik Speakon combination connectors. PRX400 cabinets are artfully constructed from an 18mm Birch/Poplar multi-laminate hardwood covered in highly resilient DuraFlexTM and feature rugged 16 gauge steel grilles.

Animals and kids run for the hills I also have 4 prx 615's,2 prx 715's and 2 prx 612's as monitors I have used this system for many years and as long as you understand what they are capable of and don't beat on them they will give you many years of amazing service

Unit had a bad speaker right out of the box. Had to have a local authorized repair service rebuild the speaker. Thanks JBL! Don't know if GC put bad unit back in circulation but it makes me wonder how things like this happen. Very disappointed in these large companies that we put our trust in and spend our hard earned money on. Qaulity control seems to be at an all time low these days!

These of course are going to be great because they are JBL's. But our band was not ready for the clarity and thump these put out when our sound tech plugged them in. They made the cement rattle. These coupled with the JRX 2 x 15" mains will support any indoor or outdoor venue that we play.

I am running a pair of these powered with a bridged Crown ce4000...I have had them for 2 months and am still impressed every time I hook them up. They replaced an older pair of Peavey sp118's and are more robust and puchier than the peaveys and weigh 50lbs. less a piece. I can carry these by myself and put them in my vehicle. The Jbl poles that you will need to mount tops on are overpriced but are truly rock solid and easy to adjust. These subs with the prx 412's on sticks sound great and do a nice job in medium size rooms and clubs. JBL quality all over in the build...everything fits just right.
