Open Box Ibanez PC12MHEOPN Mahogany Grand Concert Acoustic-Electric Guitar Level 2 Natural 194744839306

Description
Part of Ibanez's Performance Series, the PC12MHEOPN Mahogany Grand Concert acoustic-electric guitar is a high-quality, entry-level instrument with a Grand Concert body style and all-mahogany construction for a full, resonant tone. While its open-pore natural finish enhances the instrument's subtle esthetics, it also allows the wood to vibrate freely and project sound. The PC12MHEOPN is an excellent choice for musicians looking for an affordable guitar with pro-level tone and playability.
All-Mahogany Body Resonates With Warmth
The PC12MHEOPN's all-mahogany body, including mahogany top, back and sides, provides a warm and well-rounded tone with rich overtones. Mahogany is a dense, medium-weight wood that helps produce a focused, controlled resonance. Its naturally warm and woody sound is ideal for a variety of musical styles. The open-pore natural finish allows the wood to breathe and vibrate freely, enabling the instrument to reach its full tonal potential.
Ergonomic Neck Profile For Effortless Playability
The PC12MHEOPN features an ergonomic neck profile with a slim, comfortable shape. Its shorter 25" scale length and 42mm nut width make it easy to play, even for musicians with smaller hands. The rosewood fretboard provides a smooth surface for effortless fingering, while medium frets make it simple to press strings down to the fretboard.
High-Quality Electronics For Plugged-In Performance
The PC12MHEOPN includes the Ibanez AEQ-2T preamp system with an onboard tuner for plugged-in performance. The AEQ-2T preamp shapes your amplified tone with bass, middle and treble controls. An easy-to-read LED tuner ensures you're in tune before performing or recording. The PC12MHEOPN's built-in Ibanez under-saddle pickup accurately captures the natural acoustic tone of the guitar.
Premium Appointments and Playable Design
Premium appointments on the PC12MHEOPN include a tortoiseshell rosette, rosewood fretboard inlays and Ibanez Advantage bridge pins for improved tuning stability. A slim, comfortably contoured body and cutaway provide easy access to higher frets. A hardshell case is available separately for safe transport and storage.

you get what you pay for in this case. I ordered this guitar online as a new in the box guitar. What was sent to me was a guitar fullfilled by one of the stores. What i received was a guitar that was a sample in the store. It came in a Talor box well packed in lots of bubble wrap. I opened to find a very used guitar with lots of dust everywhere. No Inbanez tags, loose particles image the guitar body that when I turned over would fall from the sound hole. The pick up wires were loose and noisy. There was 2 chips in the body. I called the store manager and informed him. He was now aware and offered to replaced with a new unopened one. I would have to return the original one sent. I decided to keep the one sent because the store manager offered to refund approx 50% of the new guitar price. Still only a marginal deal at best.

This is a great little guitar for under $200. No frills, lightweight but clean construction, great sound, great action right out of the box. Needed a lightweight beat around guitar, got this on a deal of the day promotion, and might use it for more than just casual play. Definitely recommend.
Great Guitar for Everybody

I have Taylors, an Alvarez Yairi, and a host of other acoustics and electrics but this guitar is amazing. I was looking for something inexpensive for my office and to play in places where I didn't want to take my more expensive guitars. This guitar sounds amazing and plays great. This is the guitar that I recommend to people looking to learn guitar and to people looking for a good travel guitar. For beginners, the action is low and smooth. For people who already play this sounds great. The bass is rich and the highs are crisp. I may replace the tuners, but the build quality on this is top notch. And for the price? Amazing.

I have a few guitars and this guy really surprised me. Love the sound and the feel of it. Only negative thing I can say is that it doesn't stay tuned for long.

This is a great sounding guitar for the price point. I love the satin finish, but I will say that it is splotchy. This is to be expected given how much this sets you back. And it is to be noted that should you buy this guitar it is imperative that you get it setup and have the fret board touched up as well. The way my guitar came, the frets showed obvious signs that they need to be polished.
Nice warm sound for the price!

Just says plastic nut and saddle on Ibanez pc12mheopn. Could you be more specific ? Is this part of the new breed of plastics with more resonant capabilities or....just plastic ?
It's synthetic Bone (plastic modified to feel like bone.)
