Ibanez Nita Strauss JIVA10 Signature Electric Guitar | Overview

Description
After years of touring the world and establishing her name in the L.A. rock scene, she joined Alice Cooper’s band in 2014. Since then, she has become a household name in the guitar community, captivating audiences all over the world with her virtuosic chops and electric stage presence.
Ibanez has been her go-to weapon of choice since the beginning, inspired by her heroes, such as Steve Vai and Shawn Lane. Now, one of her biggest dreams has come true—her very own Ibanez signature model. Strauss is Ibanez’s first female signature artist, and this Nita Strauss JIVA10 Signature electric guitar was a show stopper at NAMM 2018.
The JIVA10 is based on the S Series and features Strauss’ own personal touches, such as her signature "Pandemonium" pickups by DiMarzio and the special "Beaten Path" fingerboard inlay.
The guitar’s finish was personally named by her as Deep Space Blonde, which is a gray burst on a natural quilted maple top. She named the guitar JIVA, which translates to one’s "soul," a word found in Asian religions, and one that has a deep personal connection with Strauss as well.
This Nita Strauss JIVA10 Signature electric guitar comes with a gig bag.

!!Amazing quality shred machine!!
I've never felt any guitar that can compare to this. The unfinished neck, jumbo frets, and rosewood on the fretboard allow you to shred so easily. The inlays, pickups, and body make the guitar so unique, and the maple top just accompanied the guitar beautifully. The Edge Zero ii tremolo system is so easy to work with, and sounds great with the tone. I absolutely love Nita's signature Pandemonium pickups and the true velvet single coil work together to make a powerful tone. The JIVA is just so easy to play, and the tone is ridiculously amazing. This guitar is everything I've ever wanted and I wouldn't change a thing.

Good Guitar
It is a good guitar but when I brought it new it was in bad shape i had a guitar tech look at it in guitar center And he told me. How bad of a shape it was. He even took a picture and showed it to me. He also said that tends to happen when it is Sits in the warehouse for over a year but he was able to get it working right, but still for the amount of money that it cost. It should have been better taking care of rather than just sitting in warehouse for a whole year, being neglected.

Well have to say it's AWESOME. When i saw Nita's sound and what she can do with it, I said I have to have it. Now that I have it, well its the best choice I made, Sounds GREAT and looks Great. I am now looking at getting the JIVAJR Signature Electric Guitar Deep Sea Blonde.

This guitar is nothing short of amazing, but takes a bit to get it dialed in. I almost gave up on it until I had a tech a GC spend some time on it. The setup wasn't awesome out of the box and didn't stay in tune. Now that it's set up, it stays in tune, plays like a dream and sounds incredible. The pickups range from warm to bright and everything in between. The pickups are hot but not outrageous. I'm very happy with it now. It looks amazing with that burl top. You'll see reviews about it going out of tune. Take your time and have a good tech work on it if you can't get it dialed in. It was so worth it now that it's set up right.

I don't usually write a review but I think this guitar is one of the best I have ever laid my hands on. My first guitar was a 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom Blsck Beauty I purchased new while in highscool. Cut my teeth on it and since trading it, yes I know incredibly dumb decision, I haven't found anything that I truly felt that had the quality of that guitar. It played like butter, had amazing tone. The closest guitar that came to the Les Paul was my Peavy EVH Wolfgang Special. That just changed. After admiring how beautiful the Jiva 10 is, and mine is absolutely gorgeous, I stretched the strings out and tuned her up. Started playing and 2 hours later finnally put her down to take a pic then kept noodling around all night long. My main guitars for gigging right now have been EVH Wolfgangs. Due to a left hand injury the Wolfgang necks make it easier for me to play without pain. I was worried about the Jiva's neck being too wide but was I wrong. The neck profile is perfect for me. Nice low action, stays in tune, so many tonal variations with the pickups. I play in 2 bands, a classic rock band covering 70s to 90s songs and another band that plays 80s and 90s metal. This guitar can do both. In really happy with it and can't wait to gig with it.

This is a great guitar. I love the S body. However I feel the need to let everyone know that despite what the description says you do not get a hard shell case with this purchase.

Since this guitar has a floating bridge, will it go out of tune when bending strings. Since I bend strings a lot, that would be a deal breaker
This guitar should stay in tune when bending the strings.submitted6 years ago

What hardcase will work the Jiva fit in?
This guitar would be compatible with any standard electric guitar case. The Musician's Gear MGMEG Molded ABS Electric Guitar Case would be a good choice.submitted6 years ago

Are these guitars a " premium" grade "prestige" or just an "s" series with different pups?
The JIVA10 is based on the S series and features Nita's own personal touches, such as her signature "Pandemonium" pickups by DiMarzio and the special "Beaten Path" fingerboard inlay.
