Open Box Guild Starfire I-12 12-String Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar Level 2 Cherry Red 197881326784

Description
Arched Mahogany Body With Center-Block Construction
The Starfire I-12 has a semi-hollow construction that utilizes a mahogany center block, providing an increased sustain and chime from the octave strings with reduced feedback for an airy, crisp tone. With sturdy arched mahogany top, back and sides, it maintains classic tone and response without sacrificing live playability.
24 3/4” Scale Mahogany Neck With Comfortable 1 11/16″ Nut Width
Ease and playability are the key to the design of the Starfire I-12. The 24 3/4” scale length and modern thin “U“ neck profile provide a fast, smooth playing neck while the 18th fret neck-to-body joint provides easy access to the upper register of the fretboard. The tune-o-Matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece ensure solid intonation and great sustain.
Guild HB-2 Humbuckers With Push/Pull Coil Split
The Starfire I-12 is equipped with Guild’s HB-2 humbuckers for a wide array of vintage and modern 12-string electric tones. They are made with Alnico II magnets for a rich, full tone that’s a perfect complement to the wide range of frequencies produced by a 12-string guitar. Complete with a fully-bound body, bound 12.5” radius rosewood fretboard, classic Guild knobs, three-step black pickguard, nickel Guild headstock logo and a glossy cherry-red finish.

Just got my Guild Starfire I-12 yesterday and it is a fabulous guitar. Looks great, plays fantastic, and has a wide variety of tones due to the split coil pickups. Came from the factory with solid intonation and neck good action, stays in tune very well. I've been playing over 47 years and this is my first 12 string. Very happy with the quality.

How much does this guitar weigh? Is this guitar top heavy? Thanks.
All guitars vary depending on the density of the wood. Manufacturers usually only spec size and type of wood. Guitars are generally between 6 and 12 lbs. They can be more. The only way to know the weight of an individual instrument is to weigh it. I'm sorry but I don't have one to weigh. This will be approximately 8.5 – 9.5 lbs. Yes, it's got some neck dive. That's a big head stock with a lot of hardware.
