It stands out for its beautiful craftsmanship and rich, resonant sound, which immediately draws you in. Every curve of the body feels comfortable against my own, and the vintage aesthetic brings a sense of nostalgia that resonates deeply with me. I recall the countless hours spent playing music, strumming familiar chords that filled the room with warmth. The Guild brand has a long-standing reputation for creating high-quality instruments that musicians of all levels appreciate, and this particular model is no exception. Its tonal clarity and balanced projection make it perfect for both solo performances and jam sessions with friends. The attention to detail in the materials used and the overall design is evident, showcasing the artistry that goes into crafting such a fine instrument. I love this guitar very much. It came new out of the book and was very much playable right then. The finish was better than expected. I sounds great after careful tuning, but that's a 12 string for you! Very happy with it though the electronics is somewhat lacking I can live with that.

  • Nice guitar - dangerious bridge pins - replace them

I'm a 40-year pro. This 12 is a nice guitar, and good live - when EQ'd correctly. Purchased from a GC in Gilroy, CA. One negative: The bridge pins are the poorest quality I have ever seen in 40 years. The plastic is SO soft, the strings did into them and make it very difficult to get out. I had to use a screwdriver and pliers and pry them out. They wouldn't even push out from the inside. Why does Guild allow such soft plastic in a part that needs to be hard? These will never to in a guitar again. Ordered some real bridge pins. If you by this guitar, replace them immediately. Now I have light gouges in my bridge. Of note: Be aware that the truss rod inside the sound hole is so recessed, I needed an endoscope to get the wrench into the hole.

  • Well-built 12-string for a great price.

Purchased this item on sale and was blown away by the quality. I've played 12-strings that cost hundreds more that didn't play this comfortably. Beautiful instrument that is a great pleasure to use. Would recommend to anyone looking to add the 12-string acoustic sound to their palette. The plugged in sound is nothing to write home about, which is what I expect from any off-the-shelf acoustic instrument, but mic it up and record it or play it around the house and you will be chuffed.

I wanted my first 12 string, so I bought this on a whim. I have been so happy to play this every day for the last few weeks. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for an affordable 12 string, or any 12 string at all.
