Heavy rascal, but . . .

Excellent sound and playability, stunning looks. I prefer a nickel-plated brass slide with this guitar. Stays in tune well, "sings" hauntingly and bluesy, of course, as you slide. I've tried wooden dobros, and perhaps I didn't try the right one, but this all-metal beauty sounded so much more "swamp" than wood to me.
Definitely would buy this again.

Wanted to be able to get the swampy growl that only a resonator can give. It certainly delivers. Also the built in pickup system is far better than expected considering some not so good reviews. Clean amp settings are best for this, however it's loud enough on its own for home or small get togethers. I'm having a ball experimenting with open tunings and slide, but it also articulates extremely well with finger picking folk style tunes. Overall, this is just what I've been looking for to round out my guitar arsenal. Highly recommend this.

Still playing at home and recording in home studio. Like the guitar but will be changing strings and setting up with a different nut.
