Great guitar, exceptional quality, sounds very rich. The neck is a little slimmer than on my Gibson Les Paul standard 60', for me it's good and easier to play. I only had replaced tuners on to Grover mini locking. Tuners were ok but not perfect like the guitar is!

I'll be honest: after playing some lower-end Gretsch models, I had mixed expectations. I figured the G5622 could deliver some nice clean and crunch sounds (which it does), but probably not pull off metal (which it…does). My original plan was to get this one for clean jangle and build up a guitarsenal to work alongside it. It turns out that this will be entirely unnecessary. I am absolutely blown away by the sound, feel, and, most of all, versatility of this instrument. Aside from just generally being gorgeous, I have legitimately never played anything more comfortable before, even going into the 5-10x price ranges. Maybe some Gretsch models are the way people say—only good for certain things—but not this one. I've found my guitar for life!
