Description

The Godin 5th Avenue CW Kingpin II hollow-body electric guitar features two Godin humbucking pickups to deliver classic vintage tone with presence, clarity and a little attitude thrown in for good measure. The 5th Avenue electric offers a true vintage spirit combined with modern playability, more projection and enhanced volume in the low/mids compared to traditional archtop acoustics. The dynamically rich tone of the 5th Avenue archtop makes this sophisticated instrument a dream to play, whether it's alt-country, blues, jazz or rock. Made from Canadian Wild Cherry, the body of the 5th Avenue features a molded arched top and back, as well as an adjustable bridge, classic F-holes, contoured high-gloss headstock, floating pickguard and cream binding.

    I bought this guitar used yesterday and played it for a few hours. I love how the guitar feels and sounds. I love that my hand is able to sit comfortably close to the bridge without much movement. I also love how I'm always on the verge of being close to feedback while playing through my Vox. The guitar is also very light, which will come in handy for long gigs. Quality sounding / feeling instrument.
