Description
The round-shouldered Gibson J-45 is the workhorse when it comes to acoustic guitars. First introduced in 1942, it remains Gibson’s best selling acoustic today. This unique J-45 Studio is hand built with walnut back and sides and a Sitka spruce top. A slimmer body depth makes for comfortable play during long sets or practice sessions. The Fishman Sonitone pickup is perfect for studio-quality plug and play. The mahogany neck has an “advanced response” profile and a walnut fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays and a TUSQ nut. The Gibson J-45 Studio is outfitted with Grover Rotomatic tuners with kidney buttons.
