Description
The Player Series Saturday Night Special Stratocaster HSS combines authentic Fender tone and feel with contemporary upgrades for inspired playing. Featuring custom Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Special pickups, this limited-edition Stratocaster delivers a crisp, articulate tone with punchy lows, bell-like highs and defined mids that are ideal for almost any genre from blues to hard rock. The Modern C-shaped maple neck's 22 medium-jumbo frets and smooth finish provide comfortable playability across the 9.5"-radius fingerboard

A Body and Finish Built for Performance
The Saturday Night Special Strat's solid alder body gives you a comfortably lightweight, resonant foundation for shaping your sound. Its striking, exclusive Daytona Blue finish, inspired by muscle cars of the late 1960s, makes a bold statement, while protecting your tonewood from the elements. A 3-ply pickguard and chrome hardware complete the iconic look.

Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Special Pickups
This Strat features custom Seymour Duncan Saturday Night Special pickups in an HSS configuration, delivering warm, dynamic tone with tight lows, crisp highs and scooped mids for articulate hard rock and metal. The bridge humbucker delivers a hot, aggressive tone, while the exclusive single-coil neck and middle pickups produce classic Stratocaster sounds for tonal versatility. A 5-way pickup switch lets you access each pickup individually—or combine them for even more sonic possibilities.

Classic, Comfortable Maple Neck
The maple neck boasts a comfortable Modern C profile suitable for all playing styles. 22 medium-jumbo frets provide easy bends across the 9.5" radius fingerboard. The synthetic bone nut yields a balanced tone and sustain, while the smooth finish on the back of the neck lets you effortlessly glide along the fingerboard.

Tremolo Bridge and Vintage-Style Hardware
The updated 2-point synchronized tremolo bridge has smoother travel for enhanced playing feel while simultaneously giving you rock-solid tuning stability thanks to less friction against the posts. Whether you're performing dramatic dive bombs or subtle warbles, this bridge helps you express yourself freely. Together with the open-gear tuners, the tremolo system keeps your Stratocaster in tune through dynamic performances and recording sessions.
Rev up your creativity with the Player Series Saturday Night Special Stratocaster HSS. Combining classic, resonant tonewoods, versatile Seymour Duncan custom pickups and fast-playing neck, this limited-edition Strat is built for dynamic and inspired performance.

These guitars are very very good or I got a blessed one. Played like butter out of the box, (stilled needed a proper setup but it was close) after that just lovely... The Tone of the guitars is great as well, the Seymour Duncan pups are meaty, gritty and super versatile even on clean. I played through a Vox AC-15, Fender Twin, VOX VT120+ & a Marshall JCM-2000 to get a full range and it was great for whatever I needed it to do.. It looks better live than in the pictures, its a beautiful instrument and sounds/plays as good as it looks.. Also build quality is there for this price point. I encountered NO fret buzz, no sound or neck irregularities, the electronics seems really good. Dial it in, it will rip. NO, buyers remorse.

Not sure I can truly help as my musical journey started fairly recent. That said I love this guitar. Beautiful looking and of course the sounds it can produce are fantastic. This guitar will work well for a long time.

Saw this at my local GC and played it out of curiosity. First thing that got my attention was how well finished the fingerboard was (no sharp edges) and second was the pups sounded great, so I bought it and with just a few changes (locking tuners, and string saver saddles) this strat rivals my USA strats!! I would definitely recommend this to any strat player in a heartbeat.

Does it hold tune after playing ? Also after using the tremolo arm?
1) Yes, it will. 2) To some extent. The reason why a guitar often goes out of tune while using a whammy bar is because when the whammy bar is pressed or pulled, it changes the tightness of strings, making them move slightly along the grooves and saddles in the nut and the bridge.submitted2 years ago
