It's exactly what you pay for
Background: I have only owned second hand cheap guitars for the past 10years. I played guitar as a hobby and creative outlet. I've become mildly successful and decided to upgrade to an intermediate guitar. It's only 4 stars because I think I should get a guitar with zero neck buzz for this price, but even after an additional 100$ to a guitar center tech, there is a nearly unnoticeable buzz… ultimately this guitar is beautiful and plays better than I deserve. My expectations may be too high due to ignorance. But this guitar is perfect for anyone ready to go from beginner to open mic

Absolutely no way would I buy this again!!!!!!!
I bought this guitar the day after black Friday at the Ocala store. Store was busy, I didn't look it over very close. That was my fault, but the bridge was adjusted all the way up. Guitar was way out of set up. No excuse for Fender shipping such a piece of crap, and shame on Guitar Center for not checking it out. The strings were corroded,so it was there for a while, and nobody caught it.Unbelieveable..I've purchased many guitars from you people, but this is my last.

Player II Big Improvement over the Player in features and QC

I give the Player II Tele RW BRG 9 out of 10 for features and quality, fret ends 7 out of 10. I also got a Player II Strat RW CRR with same ratings. The smaller butterbean classic tuners are easier to use. The pickups are pretty hot and nice. Both are 90% to an American Pro IMHO.

I've been plotting my first Telecaster purchase for some time now and me and this one just connected right off. I'm running this thing with an ABY through a PRS MT15 and a PRS HDRX 20 and "a few" Orange cabs…pretty basic Hendrix type pedal setup on the HDRX and clean boost on the MT15…any sound you want you can get for about $750 less than an American Professional et Al the other high end Teles…and the (GC Exclusive) British Racing Green (sparkle) finish is absolutely the purrtty-est(!)

Good guitar, nice pickups, cool color, but as usual fender need a strong setup out of the box, wrong neck angle needs a shin to fix it. Not so easy for a new coming player.

Caught my eye in the store last week ( was there for a pedal), resonated without being plugged in, and it "spoke to me" plugged in. Kudo to Fender (Ensenada) for the incredible neck....Have 3 Strats and 2 Pauls and this is the most resonant guitar I own now; flawless.....
