First time I've owned a Strat but I've played many and owned several copies. Neck is very comfortable, rolled edges are nice. Pickups sound great in all positions, body is very comfortable. There is some minor finish blemishing but you have to reeeeallly be looking to see it.

I picked her up on New Year's Day and traded in some old gear for what I thought was a pretty fair deal. I've had her for about two weeks now, and she's holding tune nicely in my environment. She needed a little TLC, about three quarter-turns on the truss rod to get the action where I like it, and the fretboard was dry, so I treated it with some lemon oil. I also added noiseless springs and tightened the claw for extra stability.

  • I would definitely buy this guitar again !

.. but I was blown away by the playability and tone of this guitar. I have a 2009 American Standard strat with "Fat 50s" in it which honestly does not compare to this beast, not even close actually. This guitar has all the spank you want for southern rock or flip it to the use the neck or bridge pick-ups for sweet, compressed, sustained tone (think Eagles solos). SRV tone comes naturally. The modern neck makes it so easy to bend notes, plays fast and smooth. I really wish I'd gotten one of these a heck of a lot sooner. And, the finish looks incredible. I own a lot of very expensive guitars and right now, this is the one I'm picking up each and every time.

I love the color of the guitar and love the way it sound. Only personal downside for me is that the action on it a tad bit high when i try lowering it, has fret buzzes even when adjusting the neck w a trust rod it still buzzes.
