Beautiful finish. I have the three color sunburst Strat. That to me is what a Strat should look like. The first one I ever played was a 57 model of my friend's. Love the way it feels and sounds. I've always said I was going to own a Strat before I leave this earth, now I can die happy. lol

The build is high quality and the fret board feels amazing. The tone is great for clean and distortion and great straight out the box. The sunburst design looks really cool and for me it was a great intro into Stratocasters. Super easy and fun to play. The only thing is if you over use the tremolo the threading on the bar gets messed up and it's hard to screw and unscrew but it does get stiff if that happens so you don't need a spring in the hole.

  • Good Guitar out of the box. Amazing guitar after a proper se

This needs a little bit of work to take it to the next level but not much. If you're not comfortable setting up a guitar yourself, please take it to a trained tech who really knows what they're doing. This is too nice of an instrument to not take the extra time and effort. That said, it played pretty decently from the get-go. The frets had just a couple of high spots so I dresses them down and polished them all to a mirror finish. I've always wanted to float the trem and finally decided to go for it this time around. My first attempt didn't stay in tune, but after refining the nut slots a bit more and polishing all points of contact, I can go nuts on the trem arm and it's coming perfectly back into tune. I highly recommend watching Darrell Braun's Strat set up videos on YouTube. He's really good and gives such great advice. If you're spending this kind of money on a guitar, please please please take extra time to dial it in yourself or have a good luthier/tech do it for you. I'would recommend you watch a few of the videos I mentioned so that you can be specific when you go to your tech to make sure they address everything you want done.

  • This is probably the best purchase I've made!

This was a great upgrade from my player 1 series. The pickups play way better, the bridge works way better and stays in tune, and the overal feel of the guitar feels much better. Definitely worth the price.
