Contoured Alder Body for Resonant Tone and Comfort
The Player II Stratocaster's contoured alder body provides a robust low end and ringing sustain, with its gloss polyurethane finish allowing the wood to vibrate freely for a dynamic response. The familiar Stratocaster body shape offers comfortable playability during long practice sessions and gigs. Additionally, the two-point tremolo bridge provides tuning stability even after heavy use, thanks to reduced friction at the posts.
Modern Neck With Fast, Smooth Playability
The Player II Stratocaster features a maple neck with a comfortable Modern C profile and satin finish for a smooth, fast feel. The synthetic bone nut ensures accurate intonation, while the sealed tuning machines deliver reliable performance in any situation, offering a perfect balance between nostalgic feel and contemporary playability.
Player Series Pickups for Versatile Strat Tones
The Player II Stratocaster's trio of single-coil pickups offers a wide range of tones, from glassy highs to rich low-mids. The neck pickup provides mellow warmth, ideal for rhythm playing, while the middle pickup adds clarity for articulate chording. The bridge pickup cuts through with sharp attack, perfect for overdrive and distortion. With a 5-way switch, you can blend these pickups for even more tonal variety.
Responsive Tremolo System With Tuning Stability
The Player II Strat's 2-point tremolo bridge offers a smooth tremolo feel and rock-solid tuning stability. I love the classic, simple look. Plays great and feels like it was meant for me. The maple fingerboard provides a beautiful contrast to the black. The ivory/cream-colored knobs and pickups also do the same. It's understated yet elegant and aesthetically pleasing. The craftsmanship is excellent.

Wow! I truly love it. Especially the David Gilmour color way. Honestly out the box it's played great! Sounds and plays great , and the vintage tuners are legit. I abuse the whammy bar and heavy bends and she holds tune great. I'm actually shocked how great this was out the box.
