Fender Player II Stratocaster Maple Fingerboard Alnico V Pickups

Authentic Fender Tone With a Modern Edge

At the heart of this Player II Stratocaster are its three Player Series single-coil pickups. Wound with Alnico V magnets, these pickups serve up that unmistakable Fender chime and quack that have inspired countless players and recordings. Yet Fender's engineers have given these pickups a modern twist, increasing their output and beefing up their midrange response for a tone that's still authentic, but with a bit more muscularity to slice through a dense mix.

I played this guitar out a few times It's got a great paint job and I like the vintage look I bought this item new in the box When he pulled it out it look d great as normal Guitar was NOT set up from the factory Action was REALY high and pick ups were sunk into the pick guard Everything. Felt loose like the guitar was thrown together and had no effort put into it When I took it home to set it up my self I ran into a few problems Strings felt cheap and not how fender strings should feel My buddy Lee bought a player 2 modified that was wayyy better in quality His had great strings and felt good right off the wall While mine felt like a toy It does not deserve the fender branding. It's a squire and that's that I will not buy another player 2 fender again The player one was better than the player 2 How does that work Well now I'm stuck because I noticed all of these issues after my 45 day return was up with this piece of junk so I'm co cousin do not buy

I have a couple made in Mexico fenders and for the price point it's a really good. But compared to the American made fenders there are some differences. I would recommend trying both out in store before making a purchase.
