The Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster I Artist Signature Series | Fender

Description

Soulful and dynamic, Lincoln Brewster’s playing style has inspired and uplifted countless fans over the course of his 25-year career. With an ash body and striking Aztec Gold lacquer finish, the Lincoln Brewster Stratocaster is a true modern classic, combining timeless body contours and a vintage neck shape with updated features like a compound-radius fingerboard, 2-point tremolo with bent-steel saddles and pop-in arm. A trio of single-coil pickups — two DiMarzio® Area 58™ pickups in the neck and middle positions, and a DiMarzio Area 61™ at the bridge — offer vintage tones with zero hum. The “Soft V” maple neck with nitrocellulose lacquer finish and the maple fingerboard’s 22 medium-jumbo frets are built for speed and comfort. An onboard active boost activated via the push/pull volume control, and custom mid-boost, controlled by the Tone 1 knob, give this guitar extra power and focus for any musical situation. This feature-rich guitar also has classic aesthetic touches like chrome hardware, aged white plastic knobs, a 1-ply Eggshell pickguard and vintage-style locking tuners.

I've been playing guitar for 54 years and I love how this guitar can sound like strat with vintage single coil pickups but yet with the mid boost turned up the bridge pickup can sound like a humbucker! I love the feel of the satin finished V shaped neck. This is a guitar that can do it all!

  • Yes,I would by this guitar again.

This instrument is not just beautiful, it has no bad tones in any of the multiple sound choices. She will sustain forever, and she sounds good unplugged. I have never played a neck that was so comfortable and fast in my hand like this before. After day four with her, I have found nothing that would even be considered remotely negative. I highly endorse this guitar. If you're a Strat lover this will fulfill any of your desires and many more that a normal Strat just cannot perform. Awesome guitar!!!

Having never heard of Lincoln Brewster did not deter me from taking interest in this signature model guitar. There's a 9 minute video on Fender's site (YouTube) in which he showcases this guitar not only shows off a man of extreme talent, but also demonstrates how what an awesome person he is! Humble, thankful, loving, and genuine. A true model of how we all should be. Now, his guitar, oh my goodness! Ash body (to which Fender only uses now in limited quantity), lacquered Aztec Gold finish, compound radius neck with a matte finish on the back, custom DiMarzio pickups, on board boost, asymmetrical neck heel, G&G hard shell case, on and on. Sounds absolutely amazing through my Deluxe Reverb Reissue. Bottom line, this guitar is simply a delight to play, and look at.

Guitar feels awesome. Neck is smooth and effortless to play. I just play at home these days but the neck feels awesome, love the pre-amp boost as well. Takes a bit of force to pull out the volume knob to engage the boost however. I hope it loosens up over time. Otherwise the guitar is awesome (putting aside the neck pocket (finish) crack).

  • Great guitar for a great value

Being in a small church band, there is room for a lot of tones to fill the sonic space, and this guitar delivers! Watching some videos online didn't demonstrate the amazing chime of the clean sounds when using the boost circuit to cut the mid-range. The 22 frets and big frets really make it easy to play fast and high, along with the extra sustain from the boost. Very happy!
