Fender CD-60SCE Dreadnought All-Mahogany Acoustic-Electric Guitar Natural
Fender's CD-60SCE dreadnought acoustic-electric guitar brings a blend of rich tonewoods and innovative electronics together in one bold instrument. Featuring a solid mahogany top, back and sides, the CD-60SCE creates a warm, balanced tone that shines through in any playing situation. Its dreadnought body shape pumps out full, resonant sound across the guitar's range. A comfortable easy-to-play neck and rolled fingerboard edges make navigating the CD-60SCE a breeze.
Solid Mahogany Construction Sings With Warmth
The CD-60SCE's solid mahogany top, back and sides are responsible for its characteristically warm, balanced tone. Mahogany is a dense, durable tonewood that responds dynamically to a musician's touch, with a woody midrange and rounded highs. Whether fingerpicking or strumming full chords, the CD-60SCE's all-mahogany build rewards players with rich, complex sound.
Fishman Electronics and Built-In Tuner Electrify Your Tone
Fender equipped the CD-60SCE with their Fishman CD-1 pickup/preamp system, allowing you to amplify your acoustic tone with clarity and control. Bass, Treble and Volume controls shape your amplified sound, while the built-in tuner keeps you in tune no matter where your performance takes you. The Fishman system captures the CD-60SCE's warm, resonant voice and translates it faithfully through any acoustic amplifier or PA system.
Dreadnought Cutaway Body Offers Full-Range Sound and Playability
The CD-60SCE features a dreadnought body with a deep cutaway for complete access to higher frets. Dreadnought guitars are renowned for their loud, bassy tone and broad dynamic range—and the CD-60SCE is no exception. Its cutaway dreadnought shape also makes the upper frets more reachable, ideal for lead playing and intricate solos. Whether on stage or at home, the CD-60SCE dreadnought cutaway provides robust sound and versatile playability.
Rolled Fingerboard and Easy-To-Play Neck Feel Natural
The CD-60SCE's mahogany neck has an easy-to-play profile and 12" radius walnut fingerboard with rolled edges for a comfortable feel. The fingerboard radius and neck shape are designed to feel familiar and natural to most players. Sliding up and down the neck is smooth and effortless, ideal for beginning to intermediate guitarists ready to plug in.

Like the product a lot. Great sound and the convenience of amplified acoustic sound. Nothing negative to say on the instrument but I am a bit frustrated with Fender. They had a "free lesson" sticker right on the pick guard and when I peeled it off it tore the laminate on the pick guard. Was very disappointed to have a scar on my brand new guitar!
Poor quality!

Poor quality control! Neck is a mess with all of the fret ends protruding and sharp. One fret is noticeably higher causing all kinds of issues. Inside edge of the sound hole is poorly finished and some of the ribs look rough, like they weren't sanded smooth. This one's going back!

I totally love this guitar, despite being annoyed at the fret buzz on the first fret of the outside strings. It stays in tune surprisingly well for a new guitar. Although I don't have anything against the strings, I'll be replacing them soon. If it matters, this is the best acoustic I've owned.

I really like this guitar. It plays well and has a beautiful gloss finish over the mahogany. The fish man sound with tuner incorporated makes it so easy to keep in tune. Very well satisfied with this purchase.

Picked this up a couple months ago and cannot put it down. Only thing I had to do was a slight neck adjustment on the truss rod. Started buzzing on a note from the lovely dry new england winter air. Plays well, onboard tuner is awesome and only have to tune the lower strings slightly after heavy playing
