This is a really nice guitar. The quality and attention to detail from Fender Japan is tremendous here. I have owned various Fender guitars (and some from other brands as well) from all over the world (Mexico, USA, Indonesia-Squier) and this is absolutely among the finest I've had the pleasure of playing. The fretboard and fretwork are essentially perfectly done, making it easy, smooth and fun to play. Hardly any adjustments needed straight out of the box. The pickups offer a solidly diverse range of tones. It stays in tune remarkably well likely thanks to high quality hardware. The natural tone when played unplugged, though quiet, is fantastic too, which maybe isn't particularly important on a practical level, but really drives home the obvious quality in construction that this guitar possesses. Overall this thing is a pleasure and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a humbucking tele or really any guitar near this price point. I think it easily outperforms many similarly priced options.

Love this guitar, I use it 5+ hours a day for lessons and it delivers on all the sounds I need for various genres. The coil split is a great addition. The neck is super comfortable. Would purchase again.

I went back and forth to Guitar Center after exchanging 4 electric guitars from a kramer, fender strat, gibson les paul, evh wolfgang and finally my mind is set on this beauty. I wanted something that is versatile but also look simple, and i stumbled upon this telecaster. The coil split feature is something i never had on my other guitars, so i thought it is really cool. You can switch to a single coil and get that distinctive telecaster sound. The bridge pick up gives you that 80s rock sound (close to EVH Frankenstein) to my ear which is awesome. Fender did a good job on this product and i'm thinking of buying the strat version of this boxer series.

I use this to play blues and some rock. The string bend is awesome. Also, when you switch it to single coil mode and in the middle pickup position it sounds like a strat In position 2/4.

Awesome guitar plays, and sounds amazing love the jumbo frets, humbucker pickups, and the neck. If you are looking for a hot rod Tele than this is it. The coil split gives traditional take sound.
