I am impressed with this American Made strat. The neck is slightly bigger than a typical modern guitar, but not overly big. I love the sound of pickups. They really deliver in the classic rock realm. Even though this is not the most popular era for Strats, a lot of classic songs were probably recorded with 70's fenders. I feel like I can hear a lot of familiar tones with this guitar. If you play in a classic rock cover band this would be perfect. The quality here is a big step up from any mexican made guitar, and closer to a custom shop feel. The only think I don't like is the tuners. They are "correct" for the era, but are not very smooth. Guitar stays in tune though.
