Fender 70th Anniversary American Ultra HSS Stratocaster Amethyst Finish

Stunning Iridescent Finish

The first thing you'll notice about the 70th Anniversary American Ultra Stratocaster is its eye-catching iridescent Amethyst finish. As you move the guitar, the finish shifts color across the meticulously contoured alder body. The smooth finish and sleek contours are a beautiful homage to the Stratocaster's ageless shape, which has remained largely unchanged for 70 years. Whether you're playing at home, in the studio or on stage—or simply admiring the guitar from afar—the stunning finish is an alluring element of this masterpiece.

Fender 70th Anniversary American Ultra HSS Stratocaster Modern D Neck

A Neck Built for Comfort and Speed

The 10"–14" compound radius fretboard allows for fast lead runs and precise chording in any position. Rolled fretboard edges and medium-jumbo frets provide a smooth, fatigue-free playing experience. The natural satin finish on the neck’s back ensures effortless hand movement, making long practice sessions and gigs more enjoyable.

Fender 70th Anniversary American Ultra HSS Stratocaster Pickups

Advanced Pickups and Switching for Sonic Flexibility

The Fender 70th Anniversary American Ultra Stratocaster HSS is loaded with two Ultra Noiseless single-coil pickups and an Ultra Quadra Tap humbucker. These pickups deliver crystal-clear Strat tones while eliminating unwanted hum. The Ultra Quadra Tap humbucker offers rich, high-output tones for heavier styles, and its coil-splitting capability unlocks even more sonic versatility. Special S-1 switching on the volume and tone controls provides additional tonal options, allowing you to switch between standard Strat tones and "hot" voicings with ease. From bell-like cleans to roaring leads, this Stratocaster covers it all.

master piece!!!

#sweepstakes that is really a nice guitar, and l think it is the most beautiful guitar that l have ever seen. The modern D neck shape is known for its comfort and playability, offering a smooth feel that's great for various playing styles. The roasted wood adds both aesthetic beauty and enhanced tonal qualities, making the guitar even more special. Roasting the wood, or "torrefaction," not only deepens the color but also stabilizes the wood for a richer, more resonant sound. This combination of sleek design and quality materials makes it a true masterpiece, balancing modern craftsmanship with classic beauty. #sweepstakes

Love this guitar. Amazing. The only complaint i have is how easy it is to bump the volume knob and how easy it spins making g you wonder where the sound went. Regardless, it is worth working around it.

  • A shredder that still sounds like a Strat

I was on the prowl for a super Strat like a Charger, ESP, or a Jackson, but I was put off on paying $4-5k for a U.S. model. Then this sparkly beast caught my eye. The humbucker is hot and the neck is thin. The cutaways make it a cinch to reach the higher frets. Quality build and cool case. Love it. The bargain in the store.

I have a number of great guitars, including a 50th Anniversary Strat. The 70th is the most versatile, a million tonal options, primarily due to the Humbucker and the pots. Great neck, extremely playable. BTW, looks awesome under lights!

  • Yes I would buy it again

#SWEEPSTAKES I would use it to record with play with the band and practice. Show it off to everyone, because it's beautiful. It has a very smooth neck easy to play, which makes a fast player able to play fast. It's a very well made guitar good quality. Probably one of the best Stratocasters I have. Thanks!

  • Good buy plays well sounds great.
