Mahogany Body and Ebony Fingerboard for a Rich, Resonant Tone

The Les Paul Custom features a mahogany body and a mahogany neck, a classic combination of tonewoods that delivers a warm, balanced tone with exceptional sustain and resonance. The ebony fingerboard adds a touch of brightness and snap to the guitar's overall sound, while the pearloid block inlays provide a touch of elegance. This iconic pairing of tonewoods and the sleek black finish creates a visually stunning instrument that's ready to take the stage.

Modern Medium C Neck Profile for a Fast and Comfortable Playing Experience

This Les Paul Custom electric guitar boasts a comfortable Modern Medium C neck profile that's perfect for both rhythm and lead playing. The smooth mahogany neck and responsive ebony fingerboard offer a comfortable playing experience, while the 22 medium-jumbo frets provide effortless bending and vibrato. The 12" fretboard radius is equally comfortable and well suited for first-position chording and for string bends further up the neck without the risk of your bends fretting out.

Epiphone ProBucker Custom Humbuckers for Powerful Tone

The Les Paul Custom is equipped with a pair of Epiphone ProBucker Custom humbuckers that deliver a powerful and dynamic tone with exceptional clarity and definition. These pickups are based on Gibson Custom's renowned Custombucker humbuckers, providing a versatile sound that's perfect for a variety of playing styles. Whether you're playing clean chords or overdriven solos, the ProBucker Custom humbuckers deliver the punch and articulation you need to express your musical ideas.

Gold Hardware and Vintage-Inspired Appointments

This guitar is adorned with gold hardware that complements its elegant aesthetic. The Epiphone LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and LockTone Stop Bar tailpiece ensure tuning stability and precise intonation, while the Grover Rotomatic tuners with an 18:1 gear ratio offer smooth and accurate tuning adjustments. The vintage-inspired Kalamazoo headstock and era-appropriate wiring add a touch of classic charm to the guitar's design.

I recently purchased the Epiphone Les Paul Custom Electric Guitar in Ebony from Guitar Center, and I honestly couldn't be happier. This guitar looks absolutely stunning — the ebony finish is sleek, classy, and just screams classic Les Paul style. More importantly, it sounds fantastic. The tone is rich, warm, and powerful whether I'm playing clean or pushing some distortion. It also plays incredibly smoothly — very comfortable neck, easy action, and it just feels natural in my hands. I find myself picking it up "just for a minute" and then realizing hours have passed. If you're considering a Les Paul without jumping to Gibson prices, this one is definitely worth checking out. Great looks, great sound, and a joy to play.

Is it true that the only change from 2024 is the free gig bag (which is great, btw)?
