I have been in the market for a les paul for a very long time. I was always worried about buying an epiphone version but could never seem to save up enough to get the Gibson of my dreams nor seem to justify the price tag. After doing a ton of research and reading the horror stories about the quality of both companies, the les paul custom seem to have been getting great reviews all over the internet. I decided I'd visit GC to take a test drive for myself. I couldn't have been more happier with it. It felt and sounded great and I couldn't find a flaw anywhere.

I have wanted this for 32 yrs ,finally was able to purchase.Perfect right out the box was worried about having it shipped but was packaged good no problems.Been working great so far as close to the real Les Paul as you can get,would definetly purchase again and the crew at guitar center were great

This is my first real guitar. Having played my buddy's Gibson Les Paul (what little I know how to), this guitar is very comfortable. The Gibson I have played is fully set up and this guitar is very similar to that guitar. After having played it for a few months now and learning more about how this stuff works, I would update the pickups eventually but for a beginner you cannot find anything better. It does have some weight but I personally enjoy that with a guitar. If you are going for a metal/heavy sound guitar this shouldn't be your first choice, but it is capable of shocking you in that department.

I went to my local GC to buy some strings and the black one caught my eye. I played it for about 10 minutes and was blown away. I left without the guitar, but it was all I could think about, so I ran back up there and bought it. I absolutely love this guitar, its a real rock machine. Slim 60's neck, freakin awesome crunchy pickup on the bridge. I'm not normally a big fan of gold hardware, but this just looks sharp. This has been my work horse for about a year now and seen plenty of stage time. I've gotten so many compliments on how good it sounds paired with my Marshall Origin 50 head and Orange 2x12 cab. Moral of the story, she called out to me and I listened. Don't miss the opportunity, if you're thinking about getting one, just do it.

I wanted a guitar that looked great but also sounded great , an epiphone specifically since it was the first brand I ever got when I was a kid , it didn't disappoint in all aspects it's great I use it for live performance and recording and I will continue to use it for a while
