Description

The E-II Horizon-3 Flame Maple electric guitar sports an alder body with a flamed maple top, neck-thru maple neck, 25.5" scale and 24 extra-jumbo frets on an ebony fingerboard on a thin-U neck. And a pair of Seymour Duncan SH-14 (B) & SH 2 (N) pickups pushes all your shred-heavy tone down the signal path. A Gotoh tune-o-matic bridge and tuners keep everything cinched down and in tune through heavy crunches and string-stretching leads.

Just the perfect axe for my needs...the crew at the Canton Guitar Center were great, especially Eric Weber.

The first thing I noticed was how beautiful it is. It's gorgeous. A little flashy for me. I had just bought a Gibson. A very conservative, solid choice, but something was wrong with it. I brought it in and the fretboard was off. I was on day 45 and took it back to GC (absolutely no problems with the return). This was suggested to me. I was unsure, but it stuck in my mind. I came back and, the minute it sat in my lap I knew something good was going to happen. It was light and perfectly balanced. It sits in my leg without holding on. Then, I played it. Jumbo frets, low action, no buzz. It's a beauty. The fretboard is fast and plays like butter. I've no regrets. Nobody buys an electric guitar to sit in the back and play rhythm, they play to rock. This is the guitar that lets you.
