For a traditional look, pair the PX-S6000 with the optional CS-90P wooden stand.

Features for Practice and Performance

The PX-S6000's 32W, four-way spatial sound system delivers rich, immersive audio. Tailor the sound to your environment with Hall Simulation and Surround settings. This keyboard is amazing. The action is as good as my extremely expensive grand piano -- light, responsive and smooth. I love playing the piano, but I have not been able to gig because I have NEVER been able to find a keyboard with a truly great action and a good piano. Manufacturers keep claiming that their keyboards feel like real grand pianos, but to me, they don't. Their actions have been heavy and unnatural. Bottom line: I have been looking for over 25 years for a portable digital keyboard that didn't cause me debilitating pain. And here it is. (I have a Kawai CA99 digital piano with a great action, but it is not portable.) And there's more. This Casio also has a really good piano sound. The navigation is easy on the body. No buttons to keep pushing -- which is also painful for me. I would like more onboard levers to control the mixer, but this works. (I chose the px-s6000 over the 7000 because the 6000 has a knob that I can use to control the level of the two upper voices.) The app is quirky and I have had to find some work-arounds. The app definitely needs improvement. But the electric pianos are good. Some of the other voices are really good, too, but overall, the keyboard lacks really high quality acoustic instruments. Nevertheless, I am willing to work within the boundaries of what instruments are available because finally I have a digital keyboard I can play. I am thrilled. It's a little heavier than we had wished. (My husband is nearly 79, and he has to do all the lugging, since I am disabled.) But the built-in speakers are great for their size, and the keyboard is slim and more maneuverable than some which are lighter weight. We are thrilled. This is opening up new opportunities for my husband and me to perform, and we are grateful and excited. We ended up also buying the stand, which is so stable! and the 3-pedal set-up which we can also take on gigs.
