Alvarez AU66CCE Artist Series Concert Acoustic-Electric Ukulele Shadowburst

This Artist Series Ukulele has an all mahogany construction with Herringbone binding making a great sounding Uke with a vintage vibe and a nod to pre-war guitar design. Tonally it has a warm open tone, good volume and instant response making it a delight to play. It also features a cutaway and the Alvarez AUE20 EQ and pick up with a backlit tuner.

All Alvarez ukes are constructed with a dovetail neck joint for optimal strength and transfer of energy between the neck and body. The bracing design is a modification on traditional fan style braces to optimize response. The response is also aided by a solid “slotted” bridge, which enhances projection and helps to make string changes easier and quicker.
