Excellent travel guitar

Got this as a daily pick for an incredible price. The fly bt sounds great once you dial in the delay. The OD is pretty good too. It's great being able play music through it while you practice. The case feels well made and holds the amp and guitar securely. The guitar itself feels really solid and well made. The fret work is surprisingly good but they did need a good polishing. Once that was go w they felt super smooth. Had my local guitar shop do the set up. The action and intonation are great. I added a set of medium weight Elixir strings and it feels great. The cool tap is nice gives a decent little single coil sound for a bit of spank.

The description says that the wood is okoume, but the box says mahogany. Im not sure what difference this makes, but it may to you. Other than that, it feels like a solid piece.

First, and most importantly, this does not feel like a toy. It is solidly built with quality materials. I have several regular sized guitars but I always reach for this one because of the convenience factor. The coil tap was a pleasant surprise and my only gripe is that there is a pretty significant volume drop of when you tap the coil for the single pickup sound (which is not uncommon). The carry on and the fly 3 don't compare to my Tele/Katana 50 but they are not meant to. That being said, you are not compromising anything with this guitar. The neck, frets, easily accessible truss rod adjustment, tuners, mini humbucker all feel like solid quality parts. And for those wondering, yes, you can actually travel with it. I took it from Oklahoma to South Carolina (flying) with no issues. I may end up getting a fender mustang micro to minimize my setup even more but for now, I can play this guy anywhere without issues.
