There are those that have asked Logjam to create a really small version of an old favorite "The Log" and so Logjam has come up with the Travelog. Not least of those is Italian guitar virtuoso Massimo Varini whose logo adorns the stomping surface.

The Travelog Bass Drum in a Box will fit into the accessories compartment in any average guitar case and weighs in at less than a pound.

  • Needs lots of bass

I found best results when plugged into a bass amp. Not much came from being plugged into the same PA as my guitar and mic, no matter how much I cranked the bass and turned down the mids and treble. Very convenient, small package. Seems well made - but it is small...not much resonance unless highly amplified. Hard-soled shoes also make a bid difference.

Easy to play, but sounds like you are tapping on a piece of wood...not like a bass drum. I tried with different shoes, through a bass amp and through a PA. Like the concept, but needs improvement. I returned it.
