Description
The Behringer XENYX X1204USB mixer packs extensive capabilities into a compact form. With its 8-channel design, the XENYX X1204USB provides flexible mixing for keyboards, mics, guitars and more. It starts with four studio-grade XENYX mic preamps to add clarity and dynamics to vocals and acoustic instruments. The intuitive one-knob compression makes it easy to balance levels and add punch. Each channel also has its own 3-band EQ to craft a signature sound. Built-in effects like reverb, chorus and delay open creative options during recording sessions and live gigs.
Record Directly to Your Computer With USB Connectivity
The XENYX X1204USB mixer features a built-in USB interface to connect directly to your computer. This bi-directional connectivity allows you to record each channel individually right to your DAW. No extra interface needed. The XENYX X1204USB comes bundled with a suite of recording software, including Audacity and Podifier, to start podcasting and editing audio. With the tap of a button, sync your effects to the beat. When you're ready to take your recording up a level, energyXT2.5 provides a fully featured DAW environment.
3-Band EQ and FX
Sculpt your signature sound with the 3-band EQ on each channel. Boost highs for shimmer, bump the mids to cut through the mix and add low-end punch with the low-frequency controls. Add rich ambience with the built-in 24-bit effects engine. Dial in lush reverbs for vocals and guitars. Set delayed repeats to thicken chords. Modulation effects like chorus and flanger take your sound to new dimensions. The XENYX X1204USB puts a studio's worth of processing at your fingertips.
Spice Up Your Mix With 16 Studio-Grade Effects
The XENYX X1204USB's built-in effects let you add polish to your mixes and recordings. Reverbs like hall, room and plate simulate natural spaces for vocals or instruments. Chorus, flanger and phaser effects fatten up guitars, keyboards and synths. Creative delays like ping-pong, multi-tap and reverse open new dimensions. There are also pitch shifter and multi-effects presets to further enhance your sounds. The editing controls let you customize the effects to suit your taste. The Behringer XENYX X1204USB mixer gives you the tools to craft professional-quality mixes.

I run my microphones and my instruments into this before being run into tascam. The difference it has made in the quality of my recordings is not something I can explain in text. If you don't have one, or aren't using a mixer with preamp, I strongly urge you to do so.
I've bought 3! for expansion of my business. It's the best

I use it for DJ purposes. I've had musicians tap in. I've tried other sound mixers but this one is by far the easiest to use.
Great for Youtube / Livestream

Great piece of gear for the price, works really well along with an Audiobox to plugin a phantom powered mic, add compression and effects without rack-mount gear. Pro sound for a fraction of the price for general use, making YouTube video and live-streaming with great sound quality. Adding rackmount gear is simple, and there is also AUX input for your phone or whatever to keep things simple while streaming. The drivers for this are bad though, get an external Audio interface. I tried the Audiobox and Focusrite - both work great with this.
A+ affordable and great results!
