If you can live with its Max SPL of 110dB, this little workhorse is an engineering marvel!! While it's massively underpowered for any large stage or outdoor PA use, as a supplement to an on stage personal monitor (in my case, a smaller powered PA speaker for my keyboard), I have never encountered a sub this small, this light, & this affordable that on top of it all, sounds incredible right out of the box!!! Due to its design to be integrated with the matching passive satellite speakers in the SAT series, it does not come with hardly any features needed for proper integration with other systems. However, to me it's a fair price to pay considering it's only a little over $200 that can easily be rectified by running it & your main speaker through a mixer beforehand. I personally use the sub output from my RCF 910-AX which allows complete control over the crossover, EQ, level & phase, & once dialed in properly, this little sub sounds nothing short of amazing! Again, I wouldn't use it for any harder hitting environments, i.e. outdoors, large stage, etc… however I was surprised how hard I was able to push it at an outdoor jazz gig playing key bass with a fairly loud drummer! The frequency response is much more linear than any other sub (standalone or integrated into a tower) I've ever used, and the extension hits lower that most as well, hitting a solid 35Hz or so without breaking a sweat!! Extremely impressive for a 8" driver & 200w RMS amplifier.

    1) Height: 11.42" Width: 14.17" Depth: 17.13" Weight: 33 lbs. 2) What's the application. It's not very big, it won't do for a stage.

How good does it work outdoors for sound

    Open Reply - Gear-Support
That depends on how loud you need it to be, It's spec'd at 110 dB, which is good for 8". Outdoors is a challenge.
