Bam's Hightech 4.4 Adjustable 1002XL 4/4 Cello Case is constructed from a combination of high-performance materials. Its three-layer structure, with a core of AIREX, a rigid cellular material, this AIREX foam is pressed between two layers: a metalized ABS exterior, which is very resistant to shock, and a thinner PVC layer inside. The resulting composite provides the instrument with exceptional protection which has no equal on today's market. Features include fewer latches simplifying opening and closing, injected foam suspension at the level of the neck and endpin's blocks, well-placed handles, one or two padded anti-slip shoulder straps, for greater comfort and ease of carrying.

      Hi, Thanks for giving me more details about the dimensions. You gave me only the inside dimensions however. Could you please also let me know about the outside dimensions? They're particularly important for taking the cello on planes... Also, could you please confirm the 20lbs weight? This strikes me as pretty heavy for a cello case and I just wanted to confirm that this was the right figure. Thanks! Best,

      15.8" high 22.4" wide 56.5" deep. This case weighs approximately 20 lbs.

      Thank you for bringing this to our attention. I'm going to get that updated. The offical dimensions are: Upper bout 15 3/8", Lower bout up to 18 7/8", Interior length 49 5/8 " and weighs 20lbs.
