The RE-202 Space Echo provides twelve unique delay modes to suit any musical style, all with a signature analog warmth and depth. From slapback echo to long, hazy repeats, this pedal delivers lush, retro-sounding delays for guitar, bass, keys and beyond. The "echo" and "repeat" modes provide classic Space Echo tones, while the unique "warp" and "twist" modes manipulate repeats for experimental textures. With so many tones on tap, the RE-202 Space Echo is an endlessly inspiring tool for creative musicians.

Intuitive Controls for Quick Tweaking

Despite its vast sonic range, this effects pedal is designed to be simple and intuitive to operate. Familiar knobs control "repeat Rate", "intensity" and "echo volume" for quick adjustments, while four toggle switches select different delay modes, feedback levels and other parameters. With hands-on controls and no complicated menus to navigate, you can tweak the RE-202 Space Echo's tones on the fly for reactive and expressive playing.

Premium Analog Design for Authentic Tone

At the heart of the RE-202 Space Echo effects pedal is an all-analog audio path that recreates the circuitry of the original RE-201 Space Echo. An analog BBD (bucket-brigade device) delay line generates lush, uncompressed repeats with a distinctive warmth and depth. All-analog filters and circuitry reproduce the tone and vibe of a vintage tape echo, bringing the RE-202 Space Echo to life with the same soul and attitude as the renowned classic that inspired it.

    Hard to carve out those tones/effects I love on my RE-201. Some effects get too strong too quickly, others are too subtle to tell difference. It's not difficult to use, but doesn't respond the same way. May need a "cheat sheet" from BOSS to dial in my sounds.

    Absolutely fantastic product. Easy to use great sound extremely clean. Going to be used in recording and live performance. I originally had the old tape version back in the 80s. This is quite an improvement! Finding out new settings every day, can't wait for my next life performance to show it off

    This is a pretty nice unit overall. It takes a bit of tweaking and messing around to work out how to quickly get basic echos. The reverb & echo controls lend themselves to over the top sounds if you aren't careful. (if you like spacey sounds this is the echo for you) Learn how to use the intensity knob as it is very easy to provide way too much feedback for basic echos.
