Great floor mini mixer and switch

This pedal is amazing and works exactly like I wanted it too. When I first looked at this pedal all I wanted was a simple A-B switch for one guitar so I could disconnect it from the mixer when I put the guitar down between songs. When I found this pedal and read all it could do I thought this would be a much better option than a simple switch. I use this pedal as a "mini mixer" and on-off switch for two guitars that are played at the same time. I have it setup in the following configuration: Guitars -> LS-2 -> TU-2 -> Mixer. By putting the tuner after the LS-2 we can easily tune either guitar even between songs. In our situation we don't have anyone monitoring the sound board so being able to locally adjust the level of each guitar is fantastic. We have three guitar players in our group and I recently purchased a second LS-2. We plan to daisy chain it to the first so we can to plug in the third guitar. We certainly could have handled our setup differently, but, for our situation, this pedal solved all of our problems in one easy to use device.

Good pedal but noisy

Just got this pedal to add to my chain. Although it does provide a good bit of flexibility, it adds quite a bit of noise to my signal chain. Without it, my chain is dead silent. When this pedal is attached, it adds a noticeable hiss, even when it's just plugged in. When I kick in a bypass loop, the hiss becomes even bigger. Overall a good pedal, but if you're playing quiet or acoustic music, you may want to try a more high quality bypass pedal like the Lehle.

Routing through three separate signal paths opens my pedal board up to greater capabilities while being able to successfully manage signal noise. I recommend this be the first pedal on any pedal board assembly.

I purchased this to switch between two amps/effect chains and it will do exactly that with no problem. The issue is that this unit introduced an annoying high frequency whine into my signal chain. I verified it was the LS-2 by removing every other variable and confirming that the noise was only present with the LS-2 in line both on adapter and battery power. This one's going back!

I own 3 of LS-2 Line Selector Stompboxes and don't use them to there full potential. I have used two of them for years to select and route the piezo and/or the magnetic output from my electric guitar. A cool feature is that you can also use the A or B channel as a volume boost. I recently purchased the 3rd one I to individually select or mix distortion (channel A) and overdrive (channel B) effects on another pedal board.

As a bass player, I can never find a perfect blend option for my effects chain. I feel like i can finally blend it in. Another A/B switching option which allowed an A, to B, to AB blend would perfect.

  • Best Volume Cut/Boost Pedal

One of the best and most overlooked features of this pedal is its ability to cut or boost a signal. There are a lot of boost pedals but only a few can cut a signal. I use it in my amp's effects loop to reduce the volume and play a loud amp at bedroom levels. I also have one in my home studio to switch between three different modelers without unplugging anything. This is really one of my most useful pedals.
