The right switch!
If you own a Roland amp, this is the footswitch you want. The amps use a momentary switch, not latching, like most other amps. I tried the FS-6, but didn't like it because it will only work with a battery. This one can be powered if you want, but will work without power in momentary mode. Which as I said, is what you need to switch amp functions. With the power you get the led lights, for my application I don't really need them. I would highly recommend this for anyone with an AC 90 or similar amp.

Dissapointed
Well, the return window has passed. Too bad for me. Starting out, I was able to apply 2 different functions to the pedals. Soon afterwards, many times double clicking was needed for the effect to materialize. I have followed instructions to the T. Today it was a 'gamble' as to whether a switch would work. 50% yes, 50% no. When one is recording , the last thing that's needed is a non-responsive pedal! I was hooked up to a compatible drum machine. I shouldn't have to analyze how my foot needs to come in perfect contact w/ the padal. I use a board underneath to minimize the "give" of a carpet. But I've tried it on a hard floor & have gotten the same negative results. I believe the only answer is to resort to a single button pedal. It's too bad, because the double pedal would have given me some more variety w/ the drum machine.

Expand your looper with the FS7

I recently purchased a Boss RC5 looper pedal for use at live gigs. It's a great pedal, but the one button functionality can be a little cumbersome in live performance. To remedy this, I bought the FS7 to expand the looper functionality. I can now stop and delete loops without relying on multiple taps on the RC5 unit. This has greatly simplified using the looper and I wish I would've bought it sooner.

An effective option if you don't keep your pedalboard on the

I find it more convenient to keep my pedalboard on a table or at a height where I can fiddle with it while standing, so the foot switch is a way more convenient way to control my looper. I suppose it could be used for other things too, but I haven't done that yet.
Will return, cheap, switch broke

I ordered this on line to use with a Roland BC 60 stage amp, just to switch between channels. I was told this is "the" foot switch for that amp. As soon as I opened it, read instructions and moved the polarity switch the little plastic tang broke, immediately. Since then I read a few comments that the foot buttons themselves are intermittent at times. This tells me the overall quality is not what I want. I will return my defective foot switch and pick up a single button switch for channel selection. I've used Boss gear for years, first time I had a problem with any of their stuff.

Will these work for a older Roland cube 40xl footswitch inputs instead of getting 3 fs 6 dual pedals?
The FS 7 would work on as well.
