this boom arm is a complete waste of money. don't buy it if you expect it to serve you or do anything meaningful for you in anyway. and if unhappy, don't call customer service because they'll just tell you nothing they can do. will not be buying, or shopping here again
Worst product. Buy the rode PSA or OSA+

No matter how tight you make it, arm never stays in place, springs are a way to strong. Then you have to loosen and tighten Everytime you need to move it. Warning, this is metal screws into plastic nuts. Main joint broke only after a few months. Never again, waste of money. Blue never responded to my emails.
Poor Quality Boom Arm

The boom arm comes with no instructions for how to make adjustments to the tension, and is VERY easily breakable from its cheap plastic material. Too much tension can't keep the microphone in place, and too little tension causes the entire boom arm to fall apart into pieces.

I bought this to use on my drum rack. Super impressed with the build quality. I got it on sale but would have been happy to pay the full price. The _only_ thing I'm not sure about are the plastic tension adjusting knobs, but they may be perfectly fine. But the rest is rock solid. #sweepstakes

Can't adjust it for a hand held mic. Gotta have something really heavy in it. Threw it in the dumpster.
I would buy this again
