Aston Halo - Reflected Glory

Aston Halo - Reflected Glory

Description

The same superb performance as the Aston Halo reflection filter, with a new look in all black finish for those who want a more ‘moody’ space to work with. In a market awash with differing versions of an aging design concept, the Aston HALO is a huge leap forward in reflection filter technology. There are several key areas on which Aston focussed on improving currently available technology, most notably for Isolation, absorption, mounting hardware and the general performance as a studio tool for achieving portable room control.

I put this around the mic as I was recording a vocal reading for an audio book and a track with my acoustic. It deadened the sound of the vocal and instrument and did nothing for the room noise. Maybe it made the room noise sound more dead too. Worthless.

I use the Halo in my Studio. The sound absorption is incredible. I enjoy the look and sound of the Halo.

  • Better than any other Mic shield I've used previously.

Great isolation sound without an actual booth. No reflections at all.
