The minuscule but mighty Ashdown Tone Pocket is a premium bass headphone amplifier designed for home practice, studio and stage applications.

With a host of practical features, including a 3-band EQ(+/-15dB on each band) for effective tone sculpting, line input (to connect to your smartphone or music player), analog to digital conversion, mini USB recording output for direct recording into your favorite DAW, plus a balanced line out. Lastly, a 9V rechargeable battery allows 8 hours playing time between charges.

From the top, the Tone Pocket is the answer to all of your practice/recording interface needs.

USB Recording
 The well-equipped rear panel of the Tone Pocket features a USB recording output for use with your favorite DAW, recorded with the truest digital conversion. When active, the USB socket also doubles as a charger for desktop use, keeping the unit charged via USB 5.1v-2.1A.

Loads of Charging Options
The Tone Pocket is powered by a rechargeable 9V battery (which can be changed if required), providing approximately 8 hours playing time.

The unit also comes supplied with its own 10V DC power supply (centre pin negative) for mains charging, as well as a 12V in car power supply for use with a 12V car socket (center pin positive).

Simple EQ, Bold Tone
 The Tone Pocket enhances the sound of your music delivered via your smartphone, offering more power with increased clarity and tone.

The simple yet powerful rotary 3-band EQ controls the Bass, Mids and Highs, offering +/-15dB on each band.

Balanced Line Output
The Tone Pocket ‘s balanced line output (on the rear) allows for connection to an amplifier or PA system.

 Measuring in at 1.02" x 4.25" x 3.74", The Tone Pocket fits perfectly in your back pocket, gig bag or on your desktop.

    Don't buy this item. Headphones were shorting out upon delivery, and it's gone downhill fast from there. I opened it up thinking it was a cold solder joint... what a mess. Great idea but really poor execution. The casing is extruded aluminum, with a groove which is supposed to hold the circuit board. Well, they missed the dimensions and so the circuit sets below the intended slot. As a result the bottom of the circuit makes contact with the aluminum housing. It's so snug that a component actually was broken on the bottom side. All of this might explain why I had the sense it was not dependable from first plug in. It's not. Don't buy this item.
