Description
Inspiring Synth Power
Featuring two of Arturia’s legendary Brute oscillators, the classic Steiner-Parker filter, an innovative looping envelope, and hands-on control for every parameter, MiniBrute 2 is a monosynth to be reckoned with. The next generation MiniBrute also features a Keystep-style Sequencer/Arpeggiator to give you maximum creative flexibility, letting you create a practically unlimited variety of sounds. Try out a few sounds from the included Preset Cookbook, hone your synth skills and start patching, expand using the RackBrute and your favorite Eurorack modules, the possibilities are endless.
Intuitive Creativity
Like its predecessor, the MiniBrute 2 is fast, fun, and easy to use. Its features are simply laid out and intuitive. A great starting point for musicians to learn the basics of analog synthesis, and synth experts will love exploring the exciting new sounds made possible through the diverse controls, mod matrix, and Eurorack compatibility. Connect via CV, MIDI or USB, sync to a DrumBrute, an Akai MPC Live or a Korg Volca; MiniBrute 2 lets you create your ideal synth ecosystem.
A Modular Solution
One of the most exciting aspects of MiniBrute 2 is how perfectly it integrates into modular setups. It features a comprehensive modulation matrix with dozens of sources and destinations, letting you experiment with the instrument’s own sound, or hook it up to synth and effect modules. It is also fully compatible with the RackBrute module housing system. MiniBrute 2 represents musical freedom: freedom to perform using Eurorack; freedom to create a system that’s unique to you; freedom to expand your collection at your own pace.

Fantastic Synth, Great Build Quality, Unique Voice Character

Truly shocked at the quality of this synthesizer. I'm not a large fan of Arturia, especially their quality. I've owned some of their synths in the past, and midi controllers. I've found that either the build quality was off, or the sound was too harsh. The Minibrute 2 is breath of fresh air. It's oscillator and filter character seem different, rounder and warmer somehow. It has a much larger range for the sweet spot, and the variations in sound via the patch matrix are phenomenal. The Keys actually feel amazing. Shocked. There is very little give or play to them, they feel comfortable and responsive, not cheap feeling like the past Minibrute. The aftertouch is a great addition. The sequencer and arp are very intuitive as well, so definitely a huge plus.

Noting that the MiniBrute has only a 2-octave keyboard, can this synth be midi'd to another keyboard that could act as the controller?
Yes, it has MIDI OUT capability.
