The AstroLab comes preloaded with over 1,000 sounds specifically designed for live performance. From pianos and organs to leads and basses, pads and more, you'll find a preset for every musical scenario. The iconic sounds of the Minimoog, ARP 2600, Wurlitzer and Mellotron are all represented. Best of all, you can easily customize any preset or build your own sounds from scratch using the AstroLab's intuitive interface.

AstroLab bridges the gap between production and performance, letting you access all your sounds in a reliable, robust and intuitive way. Arturia's award-winning Phi/TAE technology is built-in, giving you access to 33 instruments from V Collection and Pigments comprising over 1,000 preloaded sounds, and the ability to import, combine and curate your own. Use the included software to import up to 10,000 of your own custom sounds into the AstroLab stage keyboard. Whatever synths or sounds you use in the studio, you can now perform with them live. The software also gives you advanced sound design tools so you can fine-tune your AstroLab presets or craft entirely new sounds to your heart's content.

The AstroLab has been designed from the ground up with the live performer in mind. Its lightweight yet robust build can handle the demands of touring while its hands-on interface puts the controls you need right at your fingertips. Quickly select sounds, manipulate effects and more using the front panel knobs, buttons and navigation wheel. The AstroLab's 4 macro controls also give you real-time control over multiple parameters with a single knob twist.

The AstroLab 61 stage keyboard provides 17 insert effects including delay, reverb, chorus, phaser and more to shape your sounds. Dedicated delay and reverb knobs provide an extra layer of hands-on control. Connect the AstroLab to your computer, iOS devices, pedals and other gear using its USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and MIDI ports. The USB-C connection provides fast communication with the included software while the USB-A port lets you connect a sustain pedal or other controllers.

    The sounds of this synth are just simply amazing. I wasn't someone that owned the V Collection before this but ended up buying it, so I could edit all of the synths. I really like that I can edit any of the synth presets on my computer and push that sound to this device. The keys feel surprisingly good considering they're not fully weighted. So much fun to play!

    The specifications say the astrolab has the following bundled software: Bundled Software: Analog Lab V, V Collection, Pigments. Does it come with the standalone versions of all 3 of these software, or just analog lab v with some presets for pigments and v collection on the keyboard?

    No, it doesn't. To access the full features of the AstroLab, you'll need to pair it with the full V Collection software. The V Collection is not included with the AstroLab and costs extra.
