Meet the Artiphon INSTRUMENT 1

This Is Not A Guitar – It's the Artiphon INSTRUMENT 1

This Is Not a Synth – It's the Artiphon INSTRUMENT 1

This Is Not A Grid Controller – It's the Artiphon INSTRUMENT 1
Want to play a technique you've already mastered? INSTRUMENT 1 has got you covered. Want to be someone new for the day? That’s just a press away.
If you have some guitar or bass skills, now you can use those to move into the digital realm. You’ll be able to tune each string individually and play them independently with MPE: the new MIDI standard that allows for full expressiveness.
At just 1.6 lbs, the INSTRUMENT 1 is the songwriting tool that goes with you anywhere and plays like anything. And the rechargeable battery lasts all day.

- Pull-off and hammer-on as you would on a traditional guitar
- Modulate effects even after you've trigged your note with continuous aftertouch
- Control filters and envelopes using natural gestures with Tilt: the INSTRUMENT 1's answer to mod wheel
- Inward pressure bends the pitch of a note, unlocking a new way to utilize your synth sounds
- Create new patterns and get fresh ideas with the hardware arpeggiator
- Tempo and sub-divisions are easy to customize
- I1 will flip automatically depending on the way it's held (lefty/righty switching)
- Lock it in if you play Albert King-style

Once you learn the personality of this controller it turns into a fabulous way to access sounds. I'm a windows user and I have a template in my Bandlab Cakewalk DAW that has all midi tracks, which can access all my synth hardware. Plug in the Artiphon by USB and it plays all synths.

This MIDI instrument seems to be very hard to find. I'm a Guitar player and this seems perfect to have in my home studio. I'm going to Winston -Salem, NC soon , is there a store there that would have it ?

This is exactly what I am looking for, why is this not available in Canada? I'll pay in USD and pay extra shipping, your Canadian website has nothing like this available and its very frustrating.

Artiphon has a promotion to include a soft case when purchasing Instrument 1. Does Guitar Center has the same offer in July ?
This item does include a case.
