Play Every Part of the Song

Chorda has four main playing modes: Drum, Bass, Chord and Lead. Each has unique capabilities, with hundreds of sounds to choose from. Within each mode, you’ll play with various techniques, some familiar and others completely new. Hold the Chorda like a guitar and play one-finger chords, or lay it flat to tap like piano keys or drums. 

Loop and Layer

Chorda’s built-in looper lets you record multiple parts to build up loops in seconds. Start with a quick drum beat, add a groovy bass, and solo on top with a lead melody for as long as you’d like. Each loop can be up to five minutes long, so you can even make full songs to share with the world.

Beyond the Touchscreen

Connect to hundreds of music-making apps using Bluetooth MPE MIDI and take your production to new heights. You can use Chorda to control your MIDI-based software and hardware instruments (via USB-C or wirelessly, via Bluetooth MIDI). It works with GarageBand, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Cubase, FL Studio and any standard MIDI and MPE-compatible mobile app or hardware.

Sample Your World

Chorda players can also capture or import their own sounds to create unique instruments. With a button in the Artiphon App, any sound can be turned into a Chorda preset. For example, a bicycle bell, a bird in a tree and your roommate’s singing can all be played, looped and shared as a musical melody.
