Play mostly at home. Have collected 4 amps over the years and wanted to make life easier by connecting my amps and pedals thru a foot switcher. I then discovered gound loop hum. After some research and listening to an interview with Sheryl Crows' guitar tech, I discovered I needed an audio ground loop isolator. I checked out several other products and even purchased some mid priced isolators that only had RCA connectors (and required adapters). I decided to try this unit out. It is built well, has a great price for 8 isolators, and it can accept phono, RCA, and XLR input/outputs (which gives great flexibility without adapters). They also publish their specs, most don't. If you don't use a buffered or adjustable output to drive these isolators you will notice a drop in volume and apparently this is normal for all isolators. Have essentially no tone change with these and that was my biggest concern and the ground loop hum problem is solved.
