ART.....is quite possibly one of the most underrated, cost effective gear companies I've come across. I've had this di box and a few other products for years...and they still sound great. I use this to turn my pedalboard into a fly rig...and it works great. I prefer the sound of this over most other active di boxes that sound guys try to hook me up to. This just seems to preserve more of the natural growl and voice of my bass, which helps it stand out in a mix. I don't usually do anything but plug in, but this does have a filter switch which isn't found on many other passive boxes. The filter, I've not had a need for it around here, but it attenuates very high frequencies to avoid radio interference. It's a nice feature to have, that's not found on many passive di boxes in any price range. For the price, this is well worth it to have in your bag of tricks.
